Charleston is undoubtedly a seafood town, and oysters are a big part of its culture. There are tons of phenomenal raw bars here but for this article, we’re going to focus on those with amazing deals and specials. Hope you enjoy!
9. Pier 41
Pier 41 is a bit far from downtown but an awesome seafood option for many folks in Mount Pleasant. Located on Highway 41, hence the name, just off of 17.
Pier 41 makes the list with their Thursday special: $15 buckets of local oysters! Plus they’ve got a loaded happy hour, Monday – Saturday from 4 – 6 pm:

8. Charleston Harbor Fish House
While it doesn’t have a raw bar, Fish House has deals that compete with any of the classic Oyster Bars on this list. Located within Patriots Point, Fish House has an incredible view of the USS Yorktown, the bridge, and Charleston Harbor. They’re happy hour is from 4 – 6 pm Sunday – Friday, featuring $2 Buck Shuck – Chef’s daily selection of Oysters on the half shell. Plus:

7. Delaney's Oyster House
Delaney’s Oyster House is in the heart of downtown on Calhoun Street, just down the road from Marion Square. It has a beautiful second story porch, with a cosy, homey inside bar and dining room. They’re happy hour runs 4:30 – 6 pm Tuesday – Friday and is on this list because you can get:

6. Rappahannock Oyster Bar
Rappahannock is one of my favorites in Charleston. Located in the old cigar factory on East Bay, it’s got a huge oval bar with seats on all sides. It’s a great vibe with great specials. Happy hour is from 4 to 7 pm on weekdays. For their oyster deals, they’ve got a $6 Oyster Shooter and $2 select oysters during happy hour. They actually have 5 different options for their oyster shooters with different liquors and flavors! Plus:

5. Amen Street Fish & Raw Bar
Amen Street is a great seafood joint on East Bay, right around the corner from Henry’s on Market Street and across from Carmella’s. They have a cool bar and raw bar and a cozy dining room. And of course, a stacked happy hour. Available at the bar on weekdays from 3 – 6 pm, it offers:

4. The Darling Oyster Bar
One of the most iconic oyster bars in Charleston has a very solid happy hour that’s offered 4 – 7 pm daily. It features $1 select oysters, $1 off draft beer and $1 off draft cocktails.
3. The Longboard
The Longboard is the newest bar to set up in the center on Sullivan’s Island and by all accounts they’re here to stay. They curate some great craft cocktails and an impressive seafood and oyster menu. Rather than a classic Happy Hour, they offer “Oyster Happy Hour” which is available weekdays from 11 am – 5 pm, and 3 – 5 pm on weekends! Some oyster highlights include:

2. NICO | Oysters + Seafood
NICO is one of the more famous and popular raw bars in Charleston and they live up to their reputation of top-class seafood and French cuisine. They’re happy hour from 4 – 6 Monday through Friday features $1.75 House Oysters, plus:
